L.S.S.P. Consulting/Supervising Psychologist, Southwest Independent School District, San Antonio, Texas, December 1993 to 2004. Provide consultation services to special education department personnel and regular education personnel particularly school district directors and assistant superintendents, attend potentially problematic ARD meetings and special education hearings, provide clinical supervision to master's and doctoral level professionals in school district. Primary responsibility was to perform assessment batteries, consult with families, and provide individual and family therapy with children and adolescents on inpatient units. Other duties included participating as team member on a multidisciplinary treatment units, providing assistance to the Medical Director in identifying and dealing with milieu issues, and consulting with staff and families in managing specific problem behaviors. Provided psychiatric emergency room coverage and supervision of postdoctoral psychological interns in hospital based, APA-approved internship program.

Staff Psychologist, Dallas County Juvenile Department, Dallas, Texas. September, 1986 to April 1988. Duties included diagnostic assessment of juveniles in detention, crisis intervention, and group therapy for sex abuse victims and perpetrators. Providing court testimony and consultation to legal counsel on psychological issues as requested. Supervision of doctoral and master's level psychology graduate students in consultation, crisis interventions, and therapy and assessment cases. Development of in-service training for juvenile probation officers on psychological issues.
